Changing the world, one smile at a time.
Guy began visiting communities affected by the March 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami to bring children moments of love, joy, and hope. Niko Niko Taishi – Smile Ambassadors uses interactive comedy, juggling, music, magic and circus workshops to encourage imagination, confidence and self-respect.
Showtime provokes laughter and healing; Circus Playtime workshops empowers with an “If I can do that, I can anything” outlook. The program reaches beyond children to their teachers, caregivers and communities.
The ongoing aim of the program is to continue helping children in by collaborating with like minded groups and individuals. At its heart is the belief that we can all do something to make others happy—we can all be Smile Ambassadors. Visit the website or watch Guy's TEDx talk to learn more about the program.
